Neck Lift

Concern

The aging face undergoes a lot of changes. The skin of the neck will lose its elasticity and may create unsightly folds and wrinkles. The underlying skin muscle of the neck may also develop a stringy appearance.

Treatment

The neck lift can be performed through small surgical incisions under and behind the ears or in the midline of the neck. It is usually performed under general anesthesia. Sutures will be removed after 1 week.

Hospital Admission:                   1 night

Recuperation Time:                    2 weeks

Post Surgery              

Patient must cool the neck for two days. Expect swelling for up to one week and the removal of drains with the first dressing change.
