    Hernia

    Concern

Caused when inner parts of your body push though weak tissue, a hernia can grow or become painful, even life threatening when left untreated.

    Treatment

Hernia repair surgery fixes the weakened area and can be performed without general anesthesia.

    Hospital Admission:                   Outpatient

    Recuperation Time:                    1-2 weeks

    Post Surgery

Drains if needed are left in the wound to allow fluids to evacuate. The patient must wear a compression garment for 3 weeks.

    Diastasis Recti

    Concern

Caused when there is a partial or complete separation of the “six-pack” muscles, diastasis recti is a very common byproduct of pregnancy. However, not only postpartum women are sufferers of diastasis recti. Men and women who have never been pregnant can also have this problem of undue pressure on these abdominal muscles.

    Treatment

Surgery fixes the weakened area and can be performed without general anesthesia.

    Hospital Admission:              1-3 Days

    Recuperation time:               3 weeks

    Post Surgery

Drains will be removed at the first dressing change and an abdominal binder or compression garment will have to be worn for 3 weeks.

    Vaginal Rejuvenation

    Concern

Vaginal slackness, loss of libido  or incontinence due to age or pregnancy very often is the culprit of a vaginal rejuvenation.

    Treatment:

Though there are multiple ways to create rejuvenation, we offer a non-surgical, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) shot to the clitoris and other areas of the vagina to stimulate growth factor development in the blood and rejuvenate the area. The result is increased sexual pleasure, improve continence, and lubrication after the procedure.

    Hospital Admission:              Outpatient

    Recuperation time:               Immediate

    Liposuction

    Concern

Many people have the desire to improve the shape of their body. Liposuction makes this desire a real possibility. The removal of fat by means of suction is not a substitute for proper diet and exercise. As a matter of fact, it is not suggested for people who are severely overweight because of the risks involved. It is however an excellent technique to correct unevenly distributed fat tissue for a long-lasting result.

    Treatment

Using a local anesthesia and a solution, fat will be removed from the abdomen based on marking made just prior to surgery.

    Hospital Admission:                 Outpatient procedure

    Post Surgery

Compression garments must be worn for 3 – 6 weeks. During the first two days after surgery, some watery fluid may leak from the small incision points. Lymphatic drainage massage is recommended.

    Buttocks Augmentation

    Concern

Dissatisfaction with the size and shape of the buttocks.

    Treatment:

Under regional anesthesia, the patient received implants in the buttocks for improved shape and increase in volume.

    Hospital Admission:                  Outpatient

    Recuperation Time:                   2-3 weeks

    Post-Surgery

Drains are left in the wound to allow fluids to evacuate. The patient must wear a compression garment for 3 weeks.

    Breast Reduction

    Concern

Extremely large breasts can lead to severe physical problems such as bad posture, chronic back pain, and headaches. In many cases, patients also suffer from rashes beneath the breast. Psychologically, affected women can develop low self-esteem, depression, and social phobias.

    Treatment:

In order to reduce breast fat volume, glandular tissue and skin must also be reduced. This very common procedure is performed under general anesthesia, with suture removal after 12 days.

    Hospital Admission:                     0 – 1 night

    Recuperation Time:                      3 weeks

    Post Surgery

After dressings are changed on the second day after surgery, the patient will begin to use a post-operative bra, preferably one with an opening at the front with broad elastic bands.
