    Mini Face Lift

    Concern

An aging face will eventually lead to sagging of the malar fat pads (cheeks).

    Treatment

The mini face lift is performed under local anesthesia or general anesthesia to recreate fullness of the midface and eliminate wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth. Through small surgical incisions the cheek fat pad is repositioned to recreate a younger appearance. It can be combined with eyelid corrections and other lift procedures. Sutures will be removed after 5 days.

    Hospital Admission:                       Outpatient

    Recuperation Time:                        1-2 weeks

    Post Surgery

Patient must cool the area for two days. Expect swelling for up to one week.

    Full Face Lift

    Concern

The aging face undergoes a lot of changes. Vital structures like the eyebrows, the cheek’s fat pads and the skin of the neck will descend noticeably because of loss of elasticity.

    Treatment

A full face lift can reposition and gently tighten the skin for a more youthful appearance. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia with suture removal after 7 days. A Full Face Lift may be combined with an Eyelid Correction.

    Hospital Admission:           1-2 night

    Recuperation Time:            2-3 weeks

    Post Surgery

Patient must cool the face for two days. Expect swelling for up to one week and the removal of drains with the first dressing change.

    Eyebrow Lift

    Concern

The aging face will eventually lead to sagging of the forehead and eyebrows and can cause chronic headaches due to the continued raising of the eyebrows.

    Treatment

The eyebrows will be surgically elevated by reducing the skin right above them. This procedure will be performed under local anesthesia. Scarring on an aged face is less apparent. Expect suture removal after 7 days.

    Hospital Admission:                         Outpatient

    Recuperation Time:                          5-7 days

    Post Surgery

The patient must cool the area and apply a compress for a day. Expect swelling for up to one week.

    Endoscopic Forehead Lift

    Concern

The aging face will lead to sagging of the forehead and eyebrows.

    Treatment

An endoscopic forehead lift is performed under general anesthesia. Through five (5) small incisions above the hairline, this minimally invasive procedure suspends the skin of the forehead leaving minimal scarring. In order to provide a stable suspension of the forehead, two (2) small screws are placed superficially in the skull. These screws remain for approximately two weeks and will be removed thereafter.

    Hospital Admission:                            1 night

    Recuperation Time:                    2-3 weeks

    Post Surgery

Patient must cool the area and apply a compress to the forehead for 2 days. Expect swelling for up to one week.

    Combined Eyelid Correction

    Concern

In some cases, it might be necessary to combine the correction of the upper and lower eyelid to achieve a desirable outcome.

    Treatment:

As with the lower and upper eyelid correction, this procedure can be performed under local anesthesia. Post Surgery treatment remains the same as with upper or lower eyelid correction. Expect suture removal after five days.

    Hospital Admission:                 Outpatient

    Recuperation Time:                 1-2 weeks

    Post Surgery

The patient must cool the area for two days. Expect swelling for up to one week

    Lower Eyelid Correction

    Concern

Loose skin and chronic swelling of the lower eyelid can be the cause of a tired appearance and can lead to irritation of the eyeball. In some patients there is a particularly pronounced sagging of the edge of the eyelid after a stroke or trauma.

    Treatment:

By gently tightening the skin and suspending the edge of the lower eyelid, a more youthful and fresh look can be achieved. The surgery can be performed under local anesthesia with suture removal after 5 days.

    Hospital Admission:                         Outpatient

    Recuperation Time:                          1-2 weeks

    Post Surgery

Patient must cool the area for two days. Expect swelling for up to one week
